Warren Consolidated Schools Celebrates School Board Recognition Month in January
Warren Consolidated Schools recognizes the month of January as School Board Recognition month.
The observance of School Board Recognition Month is an opportunity to acknowledge a special group of volunteer elected officials in education.
“Our school board members dedicate countless hours to attending meetings, school functions, and other district related activities,” Superintendent of Schools Robert D. Livernois, Ph.D. said. “We proudly join educators and community members in saluting these education advocates as they provide vision and leadership for student achievement, academic programs, district funding and school facilities.”
Across the state of Michigan, more than 4,100 school board members dedicated countless hours of hard work to improving education for Michigan children. They develop policies and make tough decisions that help shape the future of the education system.
The Warren Consolidated Schools Board of Education will be honored at the January 17th board meeting to celebrate School Board Recognition Month.
