Dr. Neuhoff holds an Associates in Fine Arts from Henry Ford Community College; a Bachelors of Arts (BA) in Fine Arts with a major in Drawing and Printmaking and a minor in Art History from Eastern Michigan University (EMU); a Masters in Arts (MAE)- Art Education from EMU that included earning a Michigan Teaching Certificate with a secondary education endorsement in the fine and performing arts; a Masters in Fine Arts (MFA) which is a terminal degree in the fine arts field from EMU; and a Ph.D from Michigan State University in Teacher Education, Curriculum, and Educational Policy. Her area of emphasis is policy and social analysis.

Before coming to Butcher Educational Center as Director, Dr. Neuhoff served Warren Consolidated Schools as an Assistant Principal at Warren Mott High School for five years and as Curriculum Director for two years. She launched her administrative experience with Chippewa Valley Schools in 1997 as a Supervisor of Staff Development and Special Projects which included curriculum development, grant writing, and program development K-12.

Prior to and during her tenure as an administrator, Dr. Neuhoff has also enjoyed teaching at EMU as adjunct faculty for nearly 12 years in both the fine arts and education departments. Dr. Neuhoff has also enjoyed teaching art in public elementary, middle, and high school settings as well as through private lessons with various art associations.

Outside of her commitment to her own professional development and to her students and staff, Dr. Neuhoff also enjoys learning new and exciting things. This summer she launched new adventures in scuba diving in Lake Huron and dog sport training with her German Shepard Dog Emma Vom Royale.
