The Effects of Music on Ability to Complete Jigsaw Puzzle
The purpose of this investigation was to determine how music effects a person's ability to complete a jigsaw puzzle. Through testing individuals from the senior class at the Macomb Mathematics Science and Technology Center, it was found that music can help an individual complete a puzzle faster. Of the three variables, music type, gender, and volume, volume had the greatest effect on the results. The other variables did not have a significant effect. This demonstrated that to obtain the fastest time the participant should listen to music at a soft level. In conclusion, it was determined that music and volume level does indeed have an effect on a person's ability to complete a simple task.
