A Study of Low-E Glass
For our experimentation, we choose to do a study of Low-E glass, as compared to High-E glass. To do this, we built six boxes of Insulfoam Insulation Styrofoam and plywood, inserted a heat source, placed a 12 by 12 piece of glass on top, and measured the temperature inside the box after 15 minutes. We found that, with 95% confidence, the Insulfoam cube utilizing Low-E glass retained more heat than a cube constructed with High-E glass.
